STRATEGIES FOR THE RAPID PROMOTION OF CHINESE LANGUAGE TEACHING IN BURUNDI

This paper sets out the current situation of the teaching-learning of the Chinese language in Burundi from the 2011 to 2020. It aims to evidence and explain the factors of the promotion of the teaching of the Chinese language in Burundi, and to identify those who can inspire others countries. This research is based on reflections, documentary analysis and observations in Burundian’s teaching of chinese language environmental. After analyzing the factors of the promotion of the teaching of the Chinese language in Burundi, the results of the research propose factors constituting the strategies of the rapid promotion of the teaching of the Chinese language in Burundi. It is the better sino-burundian cooperation, the diversity of activities related to the Chinese language, the strong will of High schools’ headmasters to create teaching centers of the Chinese language, the extension and the transformation of class-credit into class-club. Finally, this paper releases points which can inspire other countries to rapid promote the teaching of Chinese language.
